Is produced in the town of Amedye, Iraq, known for its pure mountain water, high elevation, and a tahini-making tradition that dates back over 500 years. Despite limited production, demand for stretches across Iraq, the U.S., and Europe. It’s a product that reflects deep regional expertise, and we’re proud to be its exclusive distributor in the United States.
Sumac
Comes from عقرة (Akre), a mountain region in Kurdistan known for producing a rare wild sumac variety (Rhus coriaria var. zebaria). Grown at high altitudes and sun-dried by hand, this sumac stands out for its pale drupes, bold tang, and remarkably high antioxidant content. It's a spice rooted in tradition and elevated by nature.
